Drum #629, built on the 18th April 2025, is brand new stock hidden away from the world until this moment. Tasmanian Oak (Eucalyptus obliqua) is a standard timber in our range, it is not to be underestimated in any way; this is a work-horse ready to do any job, ready to impress with its pretty gum vein stripe alongside the badge. Its density is approx. 700kg/m3 and is considered a medium hard timber. The wood is valued for its strength, versatility, and attractive color range, which varies from pale cream to pink hues it is ideal for construction, furniture, and joinery, and as such a stable reliable timber for any climate in any corner of the globe.
Buy this drum for a woody, warm, yet throaty, meaty tone. Tuned low, this snare will produce a thumpy punch with dampening assistance. As the drum is tuned up, it retains its great body with more crack and controlled musical ping dialled in.
